WHAT IS AN NFT KID ZONE?
This is a space where small and big kids alike can come relax, unwind and participate in a variety of fun activities, such as coloring designs by crypto artists, making your own stickers, creating pixel art, or meeting the artists during hands-on workshops.
Perfect for a crypto conference, an art festival or even an art fair, this activation allows to share the love of new technologies and art with the next generation, while normalizing coming to these events with your little ones.
USE CASE
NFC KID ZONE for the Nonfungible Conference Lisbon, June 2023
On June 8 and 9, 2023, LAL ART organized a Kid Zone for the second edition of the Nonfungible Conference (NFC) in Lisbon, Portugal. The conference welcomed over 4000 attendees with an unmatched energy, innovative talks and a full exhibitor village, where the Kid Zone was hosted. NFC is more of a festival than a B2B trade show, and inclusivity was of great importance. To allow the next generation to be part of this event, the organizers partnered with LAL ART to host a kid-friendly section, the NFC Kid Zone #NFCkidz.
NFC Kid Zone List of Activities:
Over the course of two days, LAL ART hosted a variety of activities and scheduled artist workshops. See some examples below!
1.Crypto Art Coloring Sheets
We asked renowned crypto and digital artists to submit black and white outlines of their artworks so that kids could remix them, creating new collaborations between generations and opening their eyes to new designs and artworks. The QR code on each coloring sheet would bring the kid to the original NFT, allowing them and their parents to learn about the artist and connect with the creators of the NFT space. Artists involved in this experiment for the Nonfungible Conference included george boya, Kibo, Stina Jones, Kristy Glas, skeenee, Angie Taylor, Sturec, Mattia Cuttini, iuri kothe, Jæn, ROBNESS, Pointshark, MizzD, DaniellaDoodles, Renate Frotscher, Lapin Mignon, One Truth, Stellabelle, ilan katin, basseado, Panter Xhita, Ann Ahoy, Rainbow Mosho, Isa Kost, Coldie, moxarra, Alejandra Her, defiantsquid and Gisel Florez.
2. Pixel Art
Via Pixelchain.art, kids were able to create their first NFT with a simple grid of pixels, unlimited colors and creativity.
3. Print Making & Virtual Clay Workshops
Two artists joined us to host hands-on art workshops. Mr Monk taught us how to use print making techniques without any professional material but with amazing results. And Cryptoclay led a virtual workshop on clay toy making and animation.
4. More Activities
We have many other activities, such as face paint, the best stickers, fun plushed toys, generative stories, and more.
But most importantly everybody, big and small kids alike, had a ton of fun, together!!!
